This has the very best ingredients that has been known to "shrink" or maintain the prostate from growing. All men will have an enlarged prostate given enough time. So it will be good to begin supplementation at around 30.
I am not a doctor, but it was around that time for me when it was a tad noticeable.
Ingredients:
Saw Palmetto 320 mg (85%-95% total fatty acids)
Green Tea 100 mg
Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil 96 mg
Ginger 80 mg
Stinging Nettle 50 mg
Rosemary 10 mg

When I was offered these to review, I probably should have declined, because how in the world could I ever, ever evaluate something like this. Well, I figured out how to do it. I have a friend at work who is in his middle fifties and he's been taking something called Super Prostate Formula, which you hear touted on that late night radio show that talks about aliens, shadow people and super volcanos.
I asked him if he'd like to try these and if he'd report back to me. He said, "Sure," and then noted how expensive those other pills were. The saw palmetto count is about the same for both formulas, but this one has stinging nettles, while the other one does not. The other one has more stuff in it, but this has different stuff. So, I don't know, take your pick. The Super Prostrate Formula costs a bunch more money.
Anyway, after a month, my friend reported back that there was no change and that was good. He'd been taking the Super Prostrate formula for over a year and he says it's done alright by him, but everything has been flowing nicely with this forumla instead, so he's switched and will stay switched as long as his plumbing plumbs.
Great Saw Palmetto Suppliment September 30, 2009

I have been taking saw palmetto and selenium for years to control the effects of an enlarged prostate. This formulation has both of them as well as six other ingredients that are claimed to help. I've only been taking Prostate 5LX for about a week, having stopped the other supplements, but I think I see an improvement. Trips to the rest room are less often and less urgent. Time will tell, but all indications are that this supplement is a winner. At the very least it's convenient to have all of the ingredients in one capsule.

I can't make a scientific determination, but it sounds like good stuff and some of it I take separately already. They come in little black gel-type capsules that were easy for me to swallow. The main ingredients are: Saw Palmetto, Green Tea, Stinging Nettle, Ginger, Selenium, Rosemary. If you take these items separately, having them altogether in one product may be more convenient.

This is one of the better prostate formulas in my opinion. The capsules are football shaped and easy to swallow. They don't have any unpleasant side effects like burping, upset stomach, or odd urine smell. The price is a little more than the average prostate health pills at my local drug store, but I think you do get what you pay for with these. I like the potency levels of the ingredients and that you take it twice a day.
