Prostacare (also called Prostane) is a new natural prostate formula with impressive trial results. Amazingly, Prostacare contains tribulus and lettuce seed, which were used by ancient Egyptian men and Greek Olympiads to maintain their strength. Tribulus is now clinically proven to support testosterone circulation.
The strategy of prescription prostate drugs is sometimes analogous to turning a man into a woman. This is because a primary side effect of testosterone is enlarged prostate. However, testosterone is also critical for muscle strength, heart health and bone density. What can be said about a supplement that supports testosterone but also supports the prostate? A magic bullet.
Also, I would rate Prostacare highly simply because it is "different" from most prostate supplements. I would not stop taking saw palmetto and pygeum, other well-researched prostate support herbs. However I think it is wise to add something different. Each type of natural support follows a slightly different mechanism.
I also take 25mg 7-keto, one every other day, to support general hormone production "except" not testosterone. I.e., with 7-keto + Prostacare, all hormones are safely and naturally supported without side effects. (Many people have taken 100-200 mg. 7-keto daily to support weight loss, with no apparent side effects. There is however a "theoretical" long-term risk that your natural hormone production may become "lazy." Therefore I suggest only 25mg every other day as a safe compromise.)
PRECAUTION. In my opinion, men should not take Prostacare who have an elevated PSA or AMAS score. I do not know of any danger indicated for taking saw palmetto or other "natural" prostate supplements, even for men with cancer or a high PSA. In fact quite the contrary. However Prostacare is theoretically a bit different because it supports testosterone.
