For most men, prostate problems are very common after age 50. However, there’s no need to worry if you’re approaching 50 and haven’t developed prostate problems yet.
The prostate gland is the size of a walnut and it grows as you age. When it get to be too large, then it can cause health problems. However, most prostate issues are not cancers. In other words, even when you have prostate problem, it doesn’t mean that it increases your risk for prostate cancer.
The best thing to do is have your health exam done regularly and if you notice anything wrong, tell you doctor. If you’re age 50, have your prostate checked.
